How to Create an SMS Template

With Factoreal, you can optimize the limited content space available with the text messaging platform to create compelling SMS templates. To do that, perform the following steps:

1. Click Templates.
2. Click SMS Templates.
3. Click Create Template.
4. Enter a template name.
5. Enter body text for the message.
6. Select a template type from – a) Template/ Type & b) Promotional.
7. If you want to add metadata markups, click Add Metadata Details.
8. Enter the data in the respective fields.
9. Click Save Data.
10. Click Save to save the template.

You can have a preview of the template to the right side of the dashboard.

After you create the template, it will require approval. You can check for the approval status message in the list of templates. To do that, perform the following steps:

1. Click the 3-dots in the template card.
2. Click Status.
3. You can view the approval status in this window.
