Factoreal gives you the opportunity to define rules of engagement for your contacts. There are 3 primary categories of this, which are also among the most common. To configure the rules, perform the following steps:
- Click Settings.
- Click Rules Setup.
- Click Engagement Rules.
- Here are the 3 configurable engagement rules – 1) Inactive Contacts; 2) Abandoned Cart & 3) DND.
- Click Configuration next to Inactive Contacts.
- Set the period of inactivity after which a contact can be marked to be inactive.
- Click Save.
- Click Configuration next to Abandoned Cart.
- Set the number of hours after which a product added to cart without purchase can be considered abandoned.
- Click Save.
- Click Configuration next to DND.
- Click Configure in the Email card.
- Select the contact list/ audience segment/ individual contact that you want to put in the Email DND list.
- Click Save.
- Click Configure in the SMS card.
- Select the contact list/ audience segment/ individual contact that you want to put in the SMS DND list.
- Click Save.
