Limited-time offer (LTO) templates allow you to display expiration dates and running countdown timers for offer codes in template messages, making it easy for you to communicate time-bound offers and drive customer engagement.
The delivered message can display an offer expiration details section with a heading, an optional expiration timer, and the offer code
Follow below steps to create template:
Login to Factoreal and navigate to Templates → WhatsApp Templates
Click on “Create Template” button and Choose WhatsApp sender, enter template name, select Pre-Approved from the template type drop down
Choose Limited Time Offer from the Header dropdown & enter limited time offer text (maximum 16 characters), enable expiration code toggle button if expiration timer is required. Expiration time can be set at the time of journey creation.
Next choose the media type (Optional). Supported media types are image & video. Then upload the media
Enter message body (maximum 600 characters), enable shorten URLs toggle button to track recipient’s URL clicks
At least 1 copy code button & CTA URL button is mandatory. Copy code button should consistently appear at the first position of the template.
Button text can contain maximum 25 characters, CTA URL can contain maximum 2000 characters. Copy code buttons text cannot be customized.
Click on Save after filling all the template details. Template will be in draft status. Click on Submit for approval to submit template for approval
Once the template is approved, it can be used in journeys to send these templates
Limitations:

LTO is supported only in Pre-Approved template type.

Footer components are not supported.

Users who view a limited-time offer template message using that WhatsApp web app or desktop app will not see the offer, but will instead see a message indicating that they have received a message but that it’s not supported in the client they are using.
